  • Amazon Seller data: when you connect your Amazon Seller account, we access performance metrics (such as conversion rates, sessions, and page views) and product listing information through Amazon's official APIs, as authorized by you
  • Payment information: billing details are processed securely by our payment provider (Stripe). We do not store your full credit card number
  • Usage data: IP address, browser type, pages visited, and how you interact with our Service
  • Cookies: we use cookies for authentication and to keep you signed in. Third-party analytics cookies may also be used

How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Provide, operate, and maintain the CVR Tracker service
  • Monitor your Amazon listings for changes and track performance metrics
  • Process payments and manage your subscription
  • Send you alerts and notifications you've opted into

Amazon Selling Partner API Data

When you connect your Amazon Seller account, you explicitly authorize us to access your seller data through Amazon's Selling Partner API (SP-API). This section describes how we handle data obtained through this integration, in compliance with Amazon's Acceptable Use Policy (AUP) and Data Protection Policy (DPP).

Data we access:

  • Product listing information (titles, prices, images, bullet points, availability)
  • Sales and traffic metrics (sessions, conversion rates, page views, units ordered, revenue)
  • Inventory data (FBA and merchant-fulfilled stock levels)
  • Order data (order IDs, quantities, and status for analytics purposes)

How we use Amazon data:

  • We use Amazon seller data solely to provide the CVR Tracker service to the authorizing seller
  • We do not sell, rent, license, or share your Amazon data with any third parties
  • We do not use your Amazon data for advertising, marketing to competitors, or any purpose unrelated to providing our service to you
  • We do not aggregate your Amazon data with other sellers' data in any way that could identify your business to others
  • Your Amazon credentials are never stored on our servers — authentication is handled entirely through Amazon's secure OAuth flow

Data security for Amazon data:

  • All Amazon data is encrypted in transit using TLS 1.2+
  • All Amazon data is encrypted at rest using AES-256 encryption
  • Access to Amazon data is restricted to authenticated, authorized users only
  • We maintain audit logs of data access

Authorization revocation and data deletion:

You may disconnect your Amazon Seller account at any time through your Sellametrics account settings or by revoking authorization in Amazon Seller Central. When you revoke authorization:

  • We will stop accessing your Amazon data immediately
  • All Amazon Selling Partner API data associated with your account will be permanently deleted from our systems within 30 days of revocation
  • This includes all product listings, metrics, events, and any derived data obtained through the SP-API
  • Aggregate, anonymized, non-identifiable statistics (e.g., total number of events processed) may be retained

Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We may share your data only in the following cases:

  • Service providers: trusted third parties that help us operate our service (e.g., payment processing, analytics)
  • Legal requirements: when required by law, regulation, or legal process
  • Protection: to protect the rights, safety, or property of Sellametrics, our users, or the public

Data Security

We take appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your data, including:

  • Encryption in transit (TLS 1.2+) for all data transmitted between your browser and our servers
  • Encryption at rest (AES-256) for all stored data, including Amazon seller data
  • Secure, access-controlled infrastructure hosted on industry-standard cloud providers
  • Regular security reviews and monitoring

However, no method of transmission over the Internet is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide you services. Specifically:

  • Account data (name, email): retained while your account is active. Deleted within 30 days of account deletion.
  • Amazon SP-API data (listings, metrics, events): deleted within 30 days of authorization revocation or account deletion.
  • Payment data: managed by Stripe per their retention policies. We retain transaction records as required for accounting and tax purposes.
  • Usage data: retained for up to 12 months for analytics and service improvement.

Where we are required to retain data by law (e.g., tax or accounting regulations), we will retain only the minimum necessary data for the legally required period.

Your Rights

You have the right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you
  • Request correction of inaccurate data
  • Request deletion of your data
  • Disconnect your Amazon Seller account at any time
  • Cancel your subscription at any time

Cookies

We use essential cookies to authenticate your session and keep you signed in. We also use analytics cookies (such as Google Analytics) to understand how our Service is used. You can control cookie preferences through your browser settings.

Children's Privacy

Our Service is not intended for anyone under the age of 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
